The Enneagram: Eternal Guide to Relating with Self, Others, and Spiritual Experience with HELEN PALMER, SHARON BERBOWER, and PANELS of the NINE TYPES

The Diagram of nine types is arguably history's oldest personal development system. Rooted in the mythic reality of the ancient world, it marks the story of nine immortal beings beset by human passions. Embedded in their stories of Love and Separation lies a course of action for resolving their resistance to love. Drawn as a cosmological map, the types were carried through eons of time in the worldwide body of contemplative practice.

Recently renewed by monastic reports of psychological barriers to spiritual states, and carefully aligned with today's personality theory, the Diagram presents a modern picture of the cognitive/emotional interface between our personal story and the spiritual qualities surrounding us.

This series is about relaxing the defensive contraction that affects relationships with ourselves, partners, and spiritual practice. The workshop series includes short lectures, inner practice, and direct conversation with panelists who witness their inner states and describe their barriers and breakthroughs in relating. Each week is focused on a different type.
